Husain Rasool currently sits as the manager of corporate communications of the Bahrain Airport Company and is responsible for the overall communications strategies for BAC. Prior to joining BAC, Hussain lead VIVA Bahrain’s Public Relations efforts as he worked with the STC Group - Rasool also successfully held a major role in the first steps of opening Bahrain City Centre, the largest shopping, Entertainment and Leisure centre in Bahrain while working for Majid Al Futtaim Investments.
Rasool also managed communication strategies and campaigns for some of the leading consumer brands in the region through his work at various prestigious advertising and marketing agencies, including Fortune Promoseven/Weber Shandwick, one of the Middles East’s largest and most prestigious communication networks, where he managed household name accounts like Coca Cola, BDO and IBM as well as a long list of local brands and companies.
Rasool was also involved in managing regional and international entertainment brands while working with Vanilla Music (known today as Viva Entertainment), the largest licensees and distributors of entertainment products in the region as he worked with and managed marketing efforts for major studios like Warner Brothers, Paramount, the BBC and Dreamworks along with well-known regional names like Rotana Music, Mazikka, Mazikana along with the Viva Entertainment’s own label.

He is currently General Manager – Finance, Haji Hassan Group, a leading business house in Bahrain with operations spread over the Gulf. Shaukat Lokhandwala is a Commerce Graduate from Mumbai, India, after which he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1985, in his first attempt. In the year 2000 he added the US CPA degree to his professional qualifications, scoring a whopping 94%, the highest ever achieved in Bahrain at the time. He was the Founder President of the Bohra Toastmasters Club and a Past President of the Lions Club of Riffa, Bahrain.
