Former Chief Executive Officer - Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Co.
Mr. Talal Al Zain is Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company. Before joining Mumtalakat he spent 18 years at Investcorp as Managing Director and had worked as a VP at Chase Manhattan. He started his banking career at Citibank, Bahrain. The experience in such prestigious institutions has given Mr. Al Zain invaluable insight into international finance.
In addition to his role at Mumtalakat, Talal Al Zain is also the Chairman of Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier, and is a Board member at Bahrain’s Economic Development Board, @Bahrain, McLaren and Oasis Capital Bank.
He holds a Bachelors in Business Administration in Accounting from Oglethorpe University, Atlanta; an MBA in Finance from Mercer University, Atlanta.
